Moreover, the express purposes of The Seven Seals are to: Proclaim God's Factual Existence, Drive A Wedge Between His People And Others, Call His Children Out Of Spiritual Babylon, And Place His Seal Upon Them [Prior To His Final Restorative Actions]. Thus, "The Seven Seals" will: be obvious and readily-apparent to all people who live upon the Earth, follow the exact sequence having been openly given to all, and increasingly more noticeable with each historical fulfillment.
The First Seal: "The Great War"
- "Now I saw when The Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, 'Come and see,' And I looked and behold A White Horse. And he who sat on it had a bow and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer." - Revelation 6:1-2.
- "And Ye shall Hear Of War(s)..." - Mathew 24:6. [#1]
First of all, it is described as a very big one. In fact, it is far larger in scale than any other having ever been fought before - by: anyone, anywhere, or at anytime! Secondly, the one having fought it is depicted as riding "A White Horse" and having been given "A Crown" to [factually] do so.
World War I was attributed to the criminal assassination of "Francis Ferdinand" - the nephew of Franz Joseph [Archduke of Austria]. His uncle was considerably and justifiably distraught over the murder of his nephew and sought to investigate its occurrence. However, Serbia refused to comply with his naturally understandable wishes. Thus, Franz Joseph was given his crown by Germany; and "The Emperor of Austria" rode out conquering and to conquer - On A White Horse - in his justifiable wrath!
The Second Seal: "The Malignant War"
- "When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, 'Come and see.' And another Horse, Fiery Red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the Earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him A Great Sword." - Revelation 6:3-4.
- "And Ye shall Hear Of War(s)..." - Mathew 24:6. [#2]
For instance, this ruler is riding A Fiery Red Horse - which is symbolic of his militaristic and Evil intentions toward the rest of the Earth! This war is purely for the purpose of worldwide conquest and political dominance... and he wields A Great Sword to back up his ambitions and political authority. Moreover, it is obvious from this particular scripture that the entire Earth is wholly imperiled - by him and his allies!
World War II - with Hitler's NAZI Controlled Germany - fits this prophetic description perfectly on several very important historical levels. The Red Horse is symbolic of NAZI Germany's nature at home, as well as on the world's battlefields. After all, over 12 million: Jews, Gypsies, Homosexuals, and other governmentally defined undesirables [or, "Unter-Mensch"] were systematically exterminated in the NAZI effort to cleanse the Earth's ethnic bloodlines. Consequently, this particular horse was fully coated with much human blood.
The Third Seal: "A Worldwide Economic And Currency Collapse"
- "When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, 'Come and see.' And I looked, and behold, A Black Horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, 'A quart of wheat for a Denarius, and three quarts of barley for a Denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine." - Revelation 6:5-6.
- "And Rumors Of Wars. See that you are not troubled; for all of these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." - Mathew 24:6.
Unlike the previous two seals, this seal revolves around an artificially created scarcity of goods through the manipulation of the world's money and/or national currencies! As no war, directly, results over these abominable activities - it is obviously occurring in secret; utilizing various strategies of: manipulation, stealth, and deception. Does this sound - in any wise - familiar? It ought to, you're currently living inside of it... as is the entire world around you!
The "Rumor(s) Of Wars" - which are plural - refer to: The Cold War between East and West [first] and The War Against Nefarious Terror [second]. Both were political in origin and both were artificially created to accomplish certain political ends - which could not be [otherwise] accomplished! First, the militarization of The United States... and second, The usurpation of our protective Constitutional authorities.
You will notice that, in Mathew 24:8, these are called [or, stated as being]: "The Beginning Of Sorrows." Thus, confirming our time line with absolute precision. However, it is also important to understand that this particular seal isn't over yet! Within the next two years we will see our Western World Currencies fully collapse and profound economic consequences will result.... A Denarius [or, one ounce Gold coin] is an awful lot of money for one quart of wheat [or, a single loaf of bread]!
It is even more important to understand that, only one human generation will pass - from the opening of "The First Seal" until Yahshua [The Messiah] physically returns. Since Yahweh cut man's lifetime to 120 years - after The Flood - 2034 AD is a maximum period timeline for His return. However, in the scripture it relates that, this time will be invariably cut short: "lest, no flesh would be spared...."
*** Note: For more on this subject - The Next Three Seals [of Revelation chapter six] shall be covered in the very next installment... So, stay tuned.
You say that it is "abundantly clear" that the last days begin with the seven seals of Revelation.
ReplyDeleteThen the seven seals must have begun in the 1st century since Peter declared it to be the last days in Acts 2 and the writer of Hebrews declared his readers to be in the last days in Hebrews 1:2.
I am actually quite glad you brought that up. Yes, Peter referenced the prophecies of Joel regarding "The Last Days." However, he should have stopped with the pertinent verse - rather than [inaccurately] quoting the whole paragraph, as if it all equally applied.
ReplyDeleteJoel 2:30-32 is speaking of The Seven Seals period - which is, "The Time Of The End."
Moreover, there shall be a second fulfillment of The Holy Spirit Coming Down at the completion of The Sixth Seal - or, "The Latter Rain of The Holy Spirit" - which actually fulfills Joel 2:28-29 again, prior to The Seventh Seal and The Trumpets.
Remember, Peter was an: Apostle, Church Elder, and Preacher - not a prophet.
ReplyDeleteAs in your previous reference, the one in Hebrews is utilizing the term "In These Last Days" to once again reference the fact that he is speaking and teaching after Christ's Death and Resurrection. This has been a common dividing line and reference point throughout Christianity.
ReplyDeleteHowever, He again was not referencing the concept that they were living "In The Time Of The End" or "The End Time." He was merely acknowledging the fact that Yahshua had already fully completed His Father's work on Earth!
You say that Peter "referenced" the prophecies of Joel regarding "The Last Days". I'm sorry, but the recording of the inspired writer Luke says much more than that. Peter says that because of the coming of the Holy Spirit that they were IN the Last Days.
ReplyDeleteSo Peter declares that THEY were in the Last Days. Those that were in the 1st century.
When he declares this, the 11 were standing next to him. When he continued to quote Joel not one of the disciples stopped him and told him he was quoting too much.
How can YOU declare that Peter was wrong!!! If he was wrong there, should we just throw out his epsistles? Can we trust ANYTHING he said?
Peter was correct in referencing these two verses which had been fulfilled on that first Pentacost - as noted in the same chapter:
ReplyDelete"And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I shall pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on my maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy." - Joel 2:28-29.
This was the former rain of The Holy Spirit having been prophesied elsewhere in the scriptures. However, as equally prophesied in Zechariah 10:1 it also applies to the time period of the sixth seal of Revelation when "The Latter Rain Of The Holy Spirit" shall fall as promised finally fulfilling Joel 2:28-29.
In either case, Joel 2:30-32 -
"And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth; Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, as the Lord has said, among the remnant whom the Lord calls."
Did not apply in any way to the occurrences in the book of Acts surrounding that first Pentacost!
Rather, in Revelation chapter 6:12-17 - The opening of The Sixth Seal - we read:
"I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and every island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, 'Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!' For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"
After these things occur, when - the remnant - can expect "The Latter Rain Of The Holy Spirit" to fall upon us and that passage in Joel is truly fulfilled. For, The Seventh Seal begins with us [the remnant] being sealed!
The first six seals are given by Yahweh [God] in order to: buttress, reinforce, and strengthen our faith in Him Alone.... After these things: factually, sequentially, and verifiably having occurred - we are without any excuse. Each: man, woman, and child will decide either for, or against, Yahweh and His chosen Messiah. Those who hide amidst the mountains and rocks have chosen against... those who await Him with joy, likewise....
On whose side shall you be?
Although the scriptures state that, Yahweh [God] Himself is perfect and His messages are: Right, Correct, Accurate, and True - it never says the same about His servants. We are, all, mere men. Indeed, it states that: "God Alone Is Perfect;" "Only One Is Good, And That Is God;" and "Everyman Is A Hypocrite And A Liar...."
ReplyDeleteWhich of The Prophets was perfect? And yet, the scriptures record the lesser servants - such as: The Priests, The Teachers Of His Laws, and The Rabbis - constantly being rebuked by His selectively chosen prophets. We see: The Apostles discussing Yahshua's triumphant Kingship over Israel, Peter denying Christ before strangers, and Ananias and Saphira overcome with greed - just as Judas had done before.
Yahweh doesn't gloss over the human weaknesses of His servants and He boldly tells you up front that they all fall short of His mark.... He tells you to Trust NO-ONE, but Him alone - "for ravenous wolves are within His very own sheep pen..." and still you cannot perceive it.
However, by studying the scriptures carefully - while inquiring [solely] of Him - The Truth can be honestly discerned! "Here a little, there a little, precept upon precept, and line upon line" is how Yahweh instructs us to learn. Thus, by lining up all of the fence posts, no amount of deception can get past our spiritual defenses!
