Yahweh's "Sabbath Day" - A Long Forgotten Commandment

The Ten Commandments given to "All Israel."

Of the Ten Great Commandments, having been given to "All Israel" [both Christians and Jews] at Mount Sinai, only one of them began with the word "Remember." Consequently, we should ask ourselves: "Exactly, why is that the case?" Are any of the prophetically given Ten Commandments, more important, than any other? Certainly Not! For, as the scriptures indicate, they hang as a whole - fully undivided spiritually - from the inherent godly nature of Our Solitary Creator. Moreover, they have all been equally quoted as being: Immutable, Unalterable, and Written In Stone....

Like Yahweh Himself, His Ten Commandments are equally described as being: Absolutely Perfect, Wholly Without Flaw, and Righteous... for, a God who fully understands "The End From The Beginning," can find no real necessity towards the imposition of any theological change! Nor, with a proper understanding of Yahshua's own spiritual nature, could such grossly errant and [honestly] misguided understandings ultimately develop - out of the spiritual deference for Him.



Let's Consider Yahshua's Own Statements:

• "Then He said to them, 'Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him: how he entered the house of God and ate the showbread which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests? Or have you not read in the law that on The Sabbath the priests in the temple profane The Sabbath, and are blameless? But I say to you, that in this place there is One greater than The Temple. But if you had known what this means: 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the guiltless. For the Son Of Man is Lord even of The Sabbath.'" - Mathew 12:3-8.

Did you catch that particular gem, brothers and sisters? By blatantly stating, that: "The Son Of Man is Lord even of The Sabbath" - Yahshua was boldly proclaiming Himself to factually be: Our Original Creator, and The One To Whom Our God-Given Sabbath exclusively refers! Isn't that, The True Case? Just think about it, for a minute or so.... Those early Jewish adherents, certainly did... in fact, that is [precisely] why they sought to kill him! Consider the following passage, from the scriptures:

• "Then the Jews said to Him, 'You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?' Yahshua said to them, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.' Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Yahshua hid Himself and went out of The Temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by." - John 8:57-59.

Meanwhile, there are numerous other passages in both: The Old Testament and New Testament Scripture - which explain this Simple Truth about Yahshua [Yahweh's Only Begotten Son and Sole Singular-Creation]! Aside from Yahshua Himself - in the original form of Michael "The Archangel" - Yahweh [The Father] left the Entire Creation Process into Yahshua's very capable hands... that: "Yahshua," "Michael," or "The Angel Of Yahweh" - might be first and have the preeminence over all created beings and/or things - as it so clearly relates in The Book Of John.

• "In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it." - John 1:1-5.

If: "Yahweh walked with Adam and Eve in the garden and personally instructed them in how they might live upon the Earth," and if, "No one has ever seen Yahweh 'The Father' [including Adam and Eve]," then with whom were they walking and speaking? Do you care, to even offer up a guess? It is obvious from the very beginning - within The Sacred Scriptures - that there are two very distinct members of the Godhead. Both Father and Son are upon public display from the very beginning. Who can doubt this inescapable conclusion? Certainly, not I!

More importantly, If "The Word" is our Actual and Physical Creator, then it equally follows that:

1. It was He [Himself], that rested from His Own personal acts of creation.
2. It was He [Himself], that established His Own personal and sanctified memorial.
3. And that, He [Himself] is being deferred proper spiritual respect - through our keeping of them... or, conversely, disrespected by our continued ignoring them.

By setting aside His Sabbath Day - through our own cleverly devised [or man made] traditions - we have injured the one party most deserving of our own Spiritual Reverence and Theological Respect... and have unknowingly done so, out of supposed deference for His Heavenly Ascension - upon Sunday [The Biblical First Day Of The Week]! Just consider that prospect, under the light of these sound scriptures:

• "Why do you also transgress The Commandments Of God, because of your tradition? ...Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: 'These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. And in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men." - Mathew 15:3-9.

For 3400 years, since Mount Sinai [Mount Horeb], our Jewish Brothers and Sisters have faithfully observed Yahweh's Sabbath - from dark on Friday, until dark on Saturday - without interruption. Leaving us no reason for remaining in doubt about this holy and sanctified time period. According to "The Biblically Based Traditions" continually observed by Yahshua, a day begins and ends when two stars are visible in the heavens... and this method of reckoning is still observed by Jews today.

The greatest irony of Modern Christendom is that this specific time period [Friday through Saturday] is the time of our greatest societal debauchery - with every single social activity designed to discourage: "The Keeping Of Our Creator's Sabbath Rest!" For this reason alone, the word "Remember" actually seems exceedingly appropriate... particularly, for a God who fully knows: "The End From The Very Beginning." Regardless, of the individual reasoning behind it, the: adoption, incorporation, and adherence to "Pagan Sun Worship" in our Judeo-Christian Religious Practices can not be justified from the scriptures!
