Kneeling, sitting, or standing up - prayer is still prayer. |
As strange as this may seem, to some,
"
Prayer" is one of the single largest stumbling blocks in the lives of most
Judeo-Christian Believers. Amazingly, however, few of the mainstream churches or synagogues ever dedicate any time to this most fundamental
Judeo-Christian activity! There are numerous valuable and [even] extremely important questions surrounding it... and, let's be honest, they usually start with: "Why hasn't God answered any of my
prayers?" Personally, I believe that this is the most fundamentally important question of them all. Why hasn't "God" answered any of your
prayers?
Although many in the clergy cannot, or will not, tell you this - there are [honestly] numerous reasons why your prayers might not have been answered... seriously folks, I'm not making this up. Let's open our Bibles together and thoughtfully examine some passages about
Prayer. That is why He gave us the scriptures, after all.... In the
Book of James we read:
- "Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The Effective and Fervent Prayer of A Righteous Man avails much." - James 5:16.
