Isaiah Chapter 48: A Message To Self-Professed Christians

Isaiah Chapter 48: is a message for today....

As much as I [personally] wanted to write about The Third Seal Of Revelation today and keep my momentum moving along sequentially - with regards to The Full Seven Seals - Yahweh directed my attentions elsewhere, for His own mysterious reasons. Since Isaiah Chapter 48 is where He continually directed me, and since He is ultimately "The Boss," that is precisely where I shall write from! I have long since learned not to ignore His Spiritual Leading. More importantly, He unlocked these passages for me - in a way that I previously couldn't even fathom. Halleleuiah [Praise Be Unto Yahweh] for His magnificent grace....

In order to expedite my new and much deeper understandings - in regard to these specific passages - I will quote each passage exactly as it was written and follow that with a relatively short explanation as I have been given to understand it. Thus, we shall study it: "Line upon line, precept upon precept; here a little, and there a little..." until the entire chapter has been more fully explained. I pray, that you can agree upon the absolute necessity of our doing so... for this is a very important: "End Time" Book Of Prophecy!

Like most other biblical prophecies, Isaiah Chapter 48 follows a very specific format: An introduction [which clearly explains to whom Yahweh is speaking], A Message Of Admonishment [which rebukes and chastens], A Message Of Forgiveness And Redemption [which offers God-given atonement], and A Specifically Relevant Message [which is necessary for that given time period]. This is to ensure that His spiritually led people cannot be easily misled; while the worldly wise will obtain little to their own advantage - since they lack: "The Necessary Keys" to His spiritually discernible kingdom.

The Introduction To Isaiah 48:

• "Hear this, O house of Jacob, Who are called by the name of Israel, And have come forth from the wellsprings of Judah; Who swear by the name of Yahweh, And make mention of the God of Israel, But not In Truth or In Righteousness; For they call themselves after the holy city, And lean on the God of Israel; Yahweh is His name:" - Isaiah 48: 1-2.

According to The Old Testament, Jacob [aka Israel] had twelve sons by his four wives. These were the paternal heads of the original "12 Tribes Of Israel." As such, the term: "Israel" was originally used interchangeably for any descendant from these original twelve familial lines. After the death of Solomon, however, The Original 12 Tribes were broken into two physically separate nations: that of Judah [aka "Oholah"], and that of Israel [aka "Oholibah"]... and have been referred to separately - throughout the Sacred Scriptures ever since - with the exception of passages using the specific term: "All Israel."

In a remarkable reinforcement of this theological concept, Yahweh:

• Assigned them the spiritual names of "Ohola" and "Oholibah," 
• Referred to them as spiritual sisters, 
• Designated them as entirely separate spiritual brides, 
• Dealt with them as entirely separate spiritual entities, 
• And prophesied their separate spiritual paths - until a specified future date of spiritual reunification in "The Last Days" Time Period - as symbolized by Ezekiel's two sticks being rejoined into one single staff. [As written about, in Ezekiel 37:15-28.]

Moreover, they were taken into captivity: At different times, Under different circumstances, and With different long term intentions and/or results. And both are prophesied as returning to Physical [or, Geographic] Israel: At separate times, and Under different circumstances - before Yahshua's eventual return... for, as the scriptures [explicitly] state,  "He shall gather 'All Israel' to His holy mountain...." Thus, contrary to popular belief, declaring Israel's Prophetic Return - it is far from being physically completed! Currently, only Judah has actually returned to "The Promised Land..." and not even all of them, have returned yet - as of this posting.

Consequently, when He refers to: "The House Of Jacob," and specifies this prophesy to "Israel" - noting that they indeed came out of "The Wellsprings Of Judah" - then He is directing His message specifically to "The Ten Lost Tribes Of Israel." And yet, He goes even further into defining them more precisely [even] than that, stating of them: "Who swear by the name of Yahweh, And make mention of the God of Israel, But not In Truth or In Righteousness" - for they swear by His name: Without Truly Knowing Him, Without Truly Understanding Him, and Without Truly Obeying Him. Instead of internally trusting in Him, they [merely] lean externally upon Him; and yet, cannot spiritually discern The True Difference!

How can Yahweh [conceivably] speak more bluntly to us, "Modern Day Christians?" Yes, brothers and sisters, we are: "The Ten Lost Tribes Of Israel..." and that deeply ingrained spiritual yearning is genetically encoded into our very being from hundreds of generations before! Our Seed was cast [so long ago] amidst all of the gentiles - in order that we might grow up amidst others and lead [even more] human beings back to Him... and even God's enemies fully know this. That is [precisely] why they hate us - just as much - as our Spiritual Brothers: "The Jews."  For they [instinctually] know, what we ourselves have long-ago forgotten. That we are, who [and what] we are; and: "Leopards cannot change their spots, nor tigers alter their stripes...."

The Message Of Admonishment:

• "I have declared the former things from the beginning; they went forth from My mouth, and I caused them to hear it. Suddenly I did them, and they came to pass. Because I knew that you were obstinate, and your neck was an iron sinew, and your brow bronze, even from the beginning I have declared it to you; Before it came to pass I proclaimed it to you, Lest you should say, 'My idol has done them, and my carved image and my molded image have commanded them.' You have heard; See all this. And will you not declare it? I have made you hear new things from this time. Even hidden things, and you did not know them. They are created now and not from the beginning; And before this day you have not heard them, Lest you should say, 'Of course I knew them.' Surely you did not hear, Surely you did not know; Surely from long ago your ear was not opened. For I knew that you would deal very treacherously, And were called a transgressor from the womb." - Isaiah 48:3-8.

Yahweh revealed: "The End Times" [to us] from the very beginning - through His prophets - and He did so in a manner, whereby we couldn't recognize it in advance! Why? Because, had He openly laid it out in advance, other [less scrupulous] human beings would take credit for this readily understood knowledge and assign its ultimate revelation to being from False Idols or [even] Strange Gods. Remember, Yahweh says of Himself: "I am a jealous God..." and He is unwilling to share the credit with another. Can we therefore blame Him, when considering our own Past Documented History?

Even today, there are those who will gladly mislead many, by what they know through their own "Natural Understanding" Of The Scriptures. Isn't that so? How much more so, when they might accurately proclaim the future - well in advance of all others - without spiritual discernment or historical context? Yahweh never intended for such an occurrence, and He Intentionally Precluded It - for just that very reason... He knows us, even better, than we ourselves [honestly] do!

Moreover, If we have [honestly] studied The Sacred Scriptures as we were instructed to do - rather, than relying upon other [self-proclaimed] experts to [merely] declare them to us without any personal effort - then these currently occurring circumstances, should be inspiring us to draw The Wider World's Attention to them! For they are: Highly Accurate, Incredibly Detailed, and Glaringly Obvious - when compared to our most recent world history. How could these Prophetic Descriptions be any clearer under the brilliant light of our modern inspection? Yet again, we have "Dealt Treacherously" with Yahweh.

The Message Of Forgiveness:

• "For My name's sake I will defer My anger, And for My praise I will restrain it from you, So that I do not cut you off. Behold, I have refined you, but not as Silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. For My own sake, for My own sake, I will do it; For how should My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory to another." - Isaiah 48:9-11.

Rather than Judging Us Outright [for our continuous and ongoing personal failures] Yahweh has decided to draw "The Dross," from within us, by purifying us in the fires of "End Time Affliction" - which is currently building, all around us. Just as Israel remained within the heart of Egypt - during the first plagues - we shall also go through "The Time Of Jacob's Trouble" as [so long ago] predicted in the scriptures. There shall be no "Rapture" - for Yahweh's people... but rather, He shall provide for them - That Trust In Him By Faith Alone - amidst The Soon Coming Maelstrom Upon Earth... and He shall do so, for the glory of His own name of: "Yahweh!" Lest we [ourselves] boast.

The Message Of Redemption:

• "Listen to Me, O Jacob, And Israel, My called: I am He, I am the First, I am also the Last. Indeed My hand has laid the foundation of the earth, And My right hand has stretched out the heavens; When I call to them, They stand up together. All of you, assemble yourselves, and hear! Who among them has declared these things? Yahweh loves him; He shall do His pleasure on Babylon, And His arm shall be against the Chaldeans. I, even I, have spoken; Yes, I have called Him and His way will prosper. Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. And now Yahweh and His Spirit have sent Me. Thus says Yahweh your Redeemer, The Holy One Of Israel: 'I am Yahweh your Mighty One, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go. Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea. Your descendants also would have been like the sand, And the offspring of your body like the grains of sand; His name would not have been cut off Nor destroyed from before Me." - Isaiah 48:12-19.

Wake Up, O Israel and gather together to listen and hear "The Truth" - for He shall shortly bring forth: "The Destruction Of Babylon The Great" [in your immediate lifetime] as prophesied so long before; and He shall uproot "The Chaldeans" from amongst you!  Moreover, Yahshua [your Redeemer] shall be the one to smite them - At His Imminent Second Coming - as it has been fully declared by Him. These prophecies, having already come to pass, fully declare: "The Truth Of My Factual Existence." Do not repeat the mistakes of your past, which have already cost you so dearly, but heed My clear instructions and now prosper.

And The Specific Message For Today:

• "Go forth from Babylon! Flee from the Chaldees! With a voice of singing, Declare and proclaim this, Utter it even to the end of the earth; Say, 'Yahweh has redeemed His servant Jacob! And they did not thirst when He led them through the deserts; He caused the waters to flow from the rock for them; He also split the rock, and the waters gushed out.' 'There is no peace,' says Yahweh, 'for the wicked.'" - Isaiah 48: 20-22.

Come out of The False, Babylonian, and Man-Made Religious Systems, which have so mesmerized and controlled you until now, for I am going to totally destroy them from before Me! Swiftly run away from these "Ravenous Wolves," which are manipulating and teaching you falsely, for their deceptions are dangerously clever and will otherwise inevitably lead to your own Physical and [even] Spiritual Destruction! Do so, with Great Joy and Celebration, as a people having heard the most wonderful news... and declare it to everyone that you: Know, Meet, or [even] See -  for it is Truly Good News! And I shall provide for you, [even] as you travel in the wasted places. Therefore, declare this [also] to others, as you inevitably sojourn with them!


*** Upon A More Personal Note: I have not written this explanation with the intention of: Judging, Hurting, or [honestly] Offending Anyone. Nor, considering the tone of the scriptures, was the prophet Isaiah - who originally wrote this passage at Yahweh's personal instruction! Yahweh [merely] wants Your Undivided Attention; and for you to [honestly] worship "In Spirit and In Truth." What can be simpler, than that? Shalom.
